*****ed by the debt collector

Round about 2002/2003 I paid a standard bank account that had been handed over to MDC.. The matter was settled and I even got a settlement letter.. Fast forward to 2015, 13 years later, I realise that MDC never uodated my standard bank records to inform that I have paid.. I called MDC. And they tell me that they have no record of my standard bank account on their system and as such cannot issue me with a settlement letter..<br> <br> My money which I paid to MdC was clearly used for other purposes and not what I had intended for..was issued with a letter which as I know now meant nothing and instead it appears that I was ****** by this company..<br> <br> No one is willing to assist in any way, not standard bank and not MDC... But still I thought I should warn others dealing with this company to make sure that they check that indeed the original creditor is appraised on your payment so that you do not sit with my predicament many years later..<br> <br> I am truly disgusted though atnthis ********* practice... We should be working with trust, honestly and integrity but right now i feel really ****ed up!
