Remove my name on Credit beareau

There was ********** account opened @TFG and they have closed the account after investigation. I am suprised DMC still have my record as in the account still exist. I have phoned their call centre and didn't get a clear indication as in how far are they in removing their record on my credit beareau report. This is bad and they take their time while TFG resolved the issue long time.
