PRESCRIBED!!!

<br> <br> <br> I had a few accounts with STD bank a few years ago and paid them all up and closed them. I have not heard a single word from the Bank regarding anything else outstanding over the past 6 years since I started paying the debt off.<br> <br> <br> <br> 2 nights ago I receive a visit at my house from a representative of a company called DMC stating that they have taken over a debt owing by myself to your bank of R48 000!!! I told him he was crazy but he insisted that I sign \receipt"of the documents and phone the office the next morning. He did not explain anything to me and even the questions I raised he could not answer. Anyway I took the forms and duly contacted the office the very next day. I asked them to explain to me what was going on and also told them to communicate with Standard Bank the fact that I was disputing the debt. The Lady on the phone was extremely rude to me and was not interested in listening to anything I was trying to say"
