PRESCRIBED DEBT

I'm not one that usually does this but this is getting out of hand. Also to mention the fact the supposed amount owed has changed multiple times and so has the name they choose to list me under on my credit report.

I had an account with TFG that has been prescribed as per the NCA , it has been more than 5 years.

The account reflects as closed but still the prescribed debt was sold to these people who does not respond to the emails i have sent.

Section 126B of the National Credit Act (NCA) talks about the Application of prescription of debt and it states that: (1) (a) No person may sell a debt under a credit agreement to which this Act applies and that has been extinguished by prescription under the Prescription Act, 1969 (Act No. 68 of 1969).

I am expecting a letter stating that the account is closed. And for the listing to be removed from my report ASAP.

My next step would be the ombudsman
