PLEASE REMOVE

PLEASE REMOVE

Dear DMC Representative's Name

I am writing to formally dispute and request the removal of two accounts listed under "DMC" on my credit report, which have been reflected for years.

I have made several attempts over the years to resolve this matter, including seeking help from a financial advisor who tried to assist on my behalf. Despite these efforts, I have received no clarity or resolution from your side, and these accounts have remained on my credit profile for far too long. I have even tried reaching you via telephone or email and nothing seems to work

Please take note of the following:

I have not acknowledged the debt in any way — not in writing, verbally, nor through payment. I have not been contacted with any valid summons or legal notice concerning these accounts.

To my knowledge, these accounts have been dormant, and no formal or lawful communication regarding them has been shared with me.

According to Section 126B of the National Credit Act (NCA) and the Prescription Act 68 of 1969, this debt is now prescribed and continued attempts to collect on it are ********.

I am requesting the following, without further delay:

Immediate closure of the accounts.

Removal of all negative information related to these accounts from my credit profile.

A formal written letter confirming that the debt is prescribed and that the accounts have been closed.

Should I receive any further communication regarding these prescribed accounts, I will have no choice but to escalate the matter to the National Credit Regulator (NCR) and the Legal Practice Council (LPC) for further investigation.

This situation has caused unnecessary stress and damage to my credit profile, despite my attempts to engage and resolve the matter. I urge you to treat this with urgency and confirm the removal and closure of the accounts in writing.

Sincerely, Nicole
