PASOP! BEWARE!PASOP!!!

It is of my personal opinion that this is one of the most underhanded companies and persons that I dealt with in my entire life. Before considering buying a second hand vehicle from DMC motors in Krugersdorp please read my experience first. When Nicky first responded to my ad to do a trade in on my 2006 Ford fiesta with 100 009km on the clock I thought this would be great as my cars’ papers were missing and Nicky made me understand that it is almost impossible to get the papers once it was lost. We negotiated a trade in value on my vehicle of R20 000 which would serve to be the deposit on a golf which would be delivered the next week. After refusing to bring the golf if we did not assist him in locating the papers we were forced to help him, we then found out that we have been **** to and that it was the easiest thing to get the cars’ papers. After endless breakdowns with the loan vehicle we got tired of waiting seeing that he had the papers for the fiesta and the car had been sold yet we did not received the golf yet. In the time waiting for the golf, roughly 4 weeks after the promised date, I took a job offer in Cape Town. With this information I started putting pressure on Nicky. He contacted me the Monday 7 days before the date I was to move to Cape Town Nicky phoned me to say that he had a golf but needed to do some repairs to the Carburettor and put in a cubbyhole and cd player as that was our agreement that the car would be in a good condition and I would be able to listen to my music. The car arrived on the Friday 2 days shy of me going to Cape Town. The cubbyhole was missing, centre console broken and seats not even tightened, the car was dented and scratched and the colours on the doors did not even match. When I complained Nicky asked me to drive through from Pretoria the next day and he would make sure all the problems where sorted before I had to hit the road for Cape Town. We got there no one could assist us in the matter. We decided to speak to the owner of DMC Dawid. Nicky told us that he had purchased the golf from Dawid for R34 000 and we were paying R36 000 which Dawid confirmed and we negotiated that I would be able to use 4 month payments on repairs which were an amount R8000 for repairs. They also decided that they where to register the car on Nicky’s name till the car payments were finished. After our permit expired we tried on numerous occasions to get hold of Nicky both on his personal cell as well as the DMC phone number. When we did manage to get hold of Nicky he had so mny excuses on why we did not have our licence disk yet he said that he would send us a permit. Another 2 months went by no permit, no licence disk. We phoned DMC motors Krugersdorp and spoke to Dawid and he informed us that Nicky was a ***** that stole allot from him and that he is sorry but he will rectify the matter. That was the first time that I called to speak to him. The following two months was spent leaving messages for Dawid with his son promising to have Dawid call me back without the decency of giving me a call. Eventually a guy named Julian managed to get Dawid to call back, they were very apologetic and promised that the process would now be quick and either we would receive the papers for the vehicle or we would be able to pick a new car from the floor. He also sent us 3 x 21day permits for the time it took to sort out the papers. The last permit expired on the 16th of January. Now the new excuse is that Dawid does not know if we actually purchased the car from DMC motors even though all the papers was signed in his presence and office, he says Nicky bought the car from someone else even though the day we complained he said Nicky bought it from him. I have a car that is not on the roade I’ve been **** to left right and centre and I hope I help others not to make the same mistake as I made. If anyone had the same or similar experience please email me ********** and I we can discuss mass action against DMC motors. http://dmcmotors.co.za/
