Letter to ombudsman.

Good morning Sir/ma'am i want to report incompetency of truworths and dmc staff.

I really need your help. I've paid my account at thruworths... R4000 (as you would see in the attachment below (its a bank statement of card ive swiped to pay at carnival mall) in August /17 /2021). Also attached is a R4000 receipt of that payment.

Then I paid R700 on September/4/2021 Also proof of receipt in attachment below.

The slip said that I'm in arrears of R63.

On the 29th of September 2021 I went to truworths to pay the last outstanding amount due, upon that I was told "But sir we truworths owe you R4700" See attached receipt of minus R4700.

I've phoned truworths head office they said " Your account mr Jacobs has just been sold to DMC you now owe them R5445.00"

I was shocked.I couldnt understand why my account was sold after I've paid them almost every rand I owed and the never declined me before I paid.

The man I spoke to on the phone at truworths head office said its my problem now I must phone and pay that R5445.00 to DMC they no longer have my account and want nothing to do with me or my problem.

-Upon phoneing DMC and explaining my situation and explaining my situation AND SENDING PROOF OF PAYMENTS they STILL send me a statement that I owe them R5445.00

Now they DESTROYED my credit profile. Because now I have 2 listings of the same debt , both DMC and truworths. Please please help me Please see attachments of the 2 listings of the SAME debt on my credit report. Please NOTE- my credit report says I'm in arrears now and I have missed payments listed by both companies.

Please I wanted to rent a house to get my family back together as we are now living in seperate cities. I'm paying off all my debt and I'm trying so hard.I don't eat so I can pay my debt so I can have my family back. This breaks my heart because I'm really trying my best.

Please Sir/Ma'am... Have them fix my credit report and the misunderstanding that I owe them...

credit report destroyed false information. money i paid missing. staff of truworths and dmc happy to list me creditreport keeps on dropping . double listing of debt that has been paid. proof of payments ignored. staff not educated enough to solve this mistake from there side. totally *********** and no interest to correct there mistake
