Listing and harassment on prescribed debt

I called DMC over a week ago to complain and enquire as to why they have on record debts that have been prescribed. I was told they would look into it but I still have not received any feedback.

Firstly, Dmc has garnished me for a debt they claim I had in 2006 with International Colleges. The debt is prescribed since it is about 8 years old, furthermore they cannot even provide me with any form of documentation( original contract, proof of debt, handover amount etc) regarding to that debt. Additionally, I never received any letter of demand, phone call pertaining to that debt. I was shocked to see that I am garnished by DMC. Which can only lead to the fact that due processes were not follow with regards to the debt, excluding the fact that it is prescribed.

Secondly, they are claiming that I have debt from Capitec from 2001 another case of prescribed debt that I was told would be investigated. You cannot claim for prescribed debt.

I have no choice but to start legal action against DMC for both cases and report them to the debt collectors council, credit Ombudsman and report the attorneys that they are using, V Tints to the law society since what they are doing is *******.
