Harrassing me for a paid debt

<p>I really do not understand how one can just buy debts from companies without checking if the customers have not paid the accounts.</p> <p>I had an account with Home choice, was garnished about 6 to 8 years ago, unfortunately the garnish documents I still have to look for them in all honesty I'm not a hoader so I cannot be keeping such old papers in my house.</p> <p> </p> <p>Now I have DMC breathing down my neck harrassing me for a debt that I was garnished for so many years back and paid it. I don't know and I don't want to know who is not doing their job but can I have phone calls stop already, I can't be waking up every morning to your phone calls. YOU ARE MAKING MY LIFE HELL AND IN THE PROCESS DISTURBING MY PEACE JUST ACCEPT THAT HOME CHOICE ****** YOU AND GET OFF MY BACK, NEXT TIME I GET A CALL FROM YOU, YOU WILL NOT LIKE WHAT I'M GOING TO SAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!</p>
