DMC ********* Debt collectors collecting on Prescribed debt.

I took a loan from Finchoice in 2011 and after some financial difficulty i started skipping payments.I had a few phone calls from Finchoice in 2011 and never heard from them again .In April 2016 i got a call from DMC claiming an amount of R9500 on behalf of Finchoice. In November 2016 DMC99 was listed on my credit profile.I did some reseach and according to Section 126B (1) b) of the NCR prohibits dealing in a debt under the credit agreement extinguished by Prescription and allows the consumer to raise a defence of prescription .Even if the consumer agreed to revive the debt without being aware of the Persciption defence. This law came into action on 13 March 2015.Uder Section 126 B (b) (1) states that no person may continue to collect or reactivate a debt under a credit agreement to which the NCR applies. I kindly request that DMC99 be removed from my credit profile and my name be cleared from your books.Acc( ********** 2)

It is ******* to load or trace alert on someone s credit profile if the contact details on the credit profile is current or if debt is Prescribed.
