DMC Listing Disputed – False Prescription Claims & No Proof Despite NFO Case

I am lodging a formal complaint against DMC Debt Management regarding an ongoing dispute that remains unresolved and is now being handled in an unfair and misleading manner. The alleged accounts listed by DMC have been passed through multiple entities, namely: Finchoice → Norton Lambrianos → MBD → DMC, yet at no stage have I been provided with proper legal proof that I am liable for this debt. Despite disputing this matter, I have not received:

A signed credit agreement; Proof of funds disbursed to me; A complete and lawful chain of cession; Any reliable documentation linking this account to me beyond internal records.

Due to the lack of proper engagement and resolution, I have escalated this matter to the NFO, under CASE REFERENCE NUMBER: ***, and have allowed DMC 14 days to respond appropriately. However, instead of resolving the dispute professionally, I am now receiving messages from DMC claiming that prescription was “interrupted” or “cancelled” due to alleged payments. I categorically state: 👉 I am not aware of any such payments 👉 I have not acknowledged this debt 👉 I have not made any payments that would interrupt prescription These claims raise serious concerns about:

The accuracy of the information being re**** upon The legitimacy of the alleged account history The fairness of continued credit reporting

It is unacceptable that such statements are being made without providing clear, verifiable evidence. I therefore request the following:

Full and proper documentary proof of the alleged debt, including all supporting records; or The immediate removal of the DMC listings from my credit profile.

I expect DMC to respect the ongoing NFO process and respond with complete transparency rather than issuing unsupported claims. Failing this, I will pursue further escalation with the Credit Ombud and National Credit Regulator. I require a formal response addressing these concerns.

I refer to your ongoing responses indicating that the matter is still “under investigation” and subject to a 14 day process.I do not accept continued delays in resolving this matter.This dispute was raised on 22 April 2026, and I have since:
  • Disputed the account formally;
  • Denied any liability;
  • Requested full documentary proof;
  • Raised concerns regarding incorrect information, including alleged payments I have no knowledge of;
  • Escalated the matter to the NFO

Thank you for your previous documentation however “The account reflects attempted debit orders which were reversed and therefore do not constitute actual payments capable of interrupting prescription.” I have checked the account documents you sent me. These entries represent unsuccessful debit order attempts, not completed payments, a reversed transaction does not constitute a valid payment and cannot be re**** upon to indicate settlement or acknowledgement of debt; I am not aware of any successful payments made after November 2023, nor have I authorized any such transactions; Accordingly, I dispute the assertion that prescription was interrupted.
