DMC and Old Mutual ****

I had a loan with Old Mutual in 2018 or 2019 , got retrenched from work so I couldn’t pay the outstanding amount which was 4k plus, was called by dmc in 2020 telling me they are offering a 50% of which i payed right away with 2 payments, fast forward currently I’m blacklisted by them saying Old Mutual reopened the loan with a different reference with the outstanding, I have been calling both parties with no explanation nor solutions of this madness and my credit being *****ed up for something they came up with, im sitting with bad record and back and forth calling from both companies, I have all the references
