Company that is not willing to take your money that you owe them

<p>I called DMC to make an arrangement to pay off an account held by DMC simply to be told they are not willing to take my money but rather I must contact some other debt collector to make arrangement. Im very confussed if I were a business owner and a client of mine comes to pay his/her account, do you think I would tell them to go pay someone else? simply doesnt make any sense at all. </p> <p> </p> <p>I then said ok, I will deal with the debt collector, however I would like the original document sent to said debt collector with the amount that was handed over so I have a reference point. Once again I was denied this request.</p> <p> </p> <p>So is DMC above the law or is there simply a problem between the computer and the chair?</p>
