collecting on prescribe debt by conning people

They contact my wife . And conned my wife into settling a 26 year old ABSA debt at a discounted amount which she did. We have all the emails correspondence. And now they are harassing her for the outstanding amount and listed her. Every time they call my wife informs them that will be contacting a lawyer and asks for a contact person details they end the call.
