Collecting on a paid up debt fighting for my refund

I am frustrated as I am being inconvenienced by this company for a debt that I do not even owe.

It’s almost a month I’ve been waiting for my refund and it’s actually frustrating from level of unprofessionalism I receive from this company.

I was owing sars which I made a direct repayment arrangement with sars. Sent all relevant documents to this company last year February 2023, Even then I still fought for my refund as they still deducted money from my salary after all documents were sent to them. My debt with sars was paid up Dec 2023.

February 2024 an amount of R2040 was deducted from my employer, I have contacted the company which is a mission getting hold of them as their phones are sometimes not answered. I have since sent updated assessments statements and penalty statements from sars to them on the 17th February indicating a R0.00 balance numerous times to an email address they can’t seem to manage because I have asked to send the same documents over and over again.

It’s the forth week I have been told my refund will be processed during the course of the week to this day nothing. I am getting paid again next week and I’m afraid my salary will be deducted and while I am still waiting for my refund.

Not even procurement managers in this company are competent. Sars is not even able to refund me because the money is with this 3rd party collector neither can my employer assist with this regard. I have monthly commitments which I could not fulfil because of this *********** company.
