Account not written off

Good day,

I reverted myself last week to Hellopeter to complain about an account that was prescribed. I received feedback from the legal team, stating that this account will be written off. I received a call today from DMC, stating that there is no such letter attached to the account, now I have to email that to the call center. Is this ************ way off getting me to acknowledge the debt, and that it will be reactivated?
