10 Year old debt

I got a visit from a male representing DMC at late parts of the night at my home claiming i have debts that i need to pay from 2005 which was paid to other debt firms ,however has since been passed around ,i am also receiving sms's from Dmc asking for payment ,this is pure exploitation of the consumer ,I did have a few receipts that I managed to save from tarnishing as these receipts of payment are more then 10 years old and tarnish which i sent through to Dmc in Jan 2015 this year to the email address that they provided me with which is [Email Removed] however nothing has been done to remove and cancel of these accounts.These accounts are more than 10 years old which makes this alleged debt almost 10 years old, any debt 10 years or older has long since been extinguished by prescription and i would like them to stop harassing me and close any files on me immediately .
