ROBBING TENANTS DEPOSIT REFUND

This property agents are ******, abusive and intolerable to its loyal tenants. I have been renting 2 shops with 2 separate contracts from them for 6yrs and the abuse thereof is shocking.

D&M rentals do not maintain their building President Building Attie fourie street Vanderbijlpark to be specific. If you write them a maintenance complaint they respond by saying the landlord will not approve the fixing or renovating. They gave permission for me to fix the problems. They call her a stingy landlord however we pay and they are un possession of my deposit.

When I moved in I was given the keys in the office, no one from D&M rentals accompanied me to the shop to see the condition. The state of the shop was horrible to say the least.

When they refuse to renovate, for the sake of my company's image I decided to fix the problems, starting from painting the walls, to fixing the floor, partitioning etc.

When I finally decided to move out of the shop, they came to do inspection however it was not done when I moved in. They pointed out the colour of my paint and they said they did not like it I must repaint it. I improved the condition of the walls and shop in general is 100% however they insist I must repaint to white when they have me dirty walls.

Upon moving out they decided to repaint the walls white, abd they are refusing to pay back my R7800 deposit, they say they used it for renovation.

This is how they treat most of their tenants, my brother had the same experience and many others. They rob tenants deposit by pointing out useless things.
