Extreme ****** at DLN Cambridge Private School in Honeydew Ridge Roodeport

Please do not send your child to DLN Cambridge private school in Honeydew Ridge, Roodepoort. The principal, Leonie De Kock, e-mail address *** or ***, is the most ridiculously unreasonable, greedy, ****** person that I have ever met. Black students including my child’s friend Trust, and the staff complain about the ****** that they have to deal with on a daily basis with Leonie De Kock. I was hospitalized in March with cancer and then with the lockdown, I had no income for 3 months as I am self employed. With medical bills mounting, I had no means of paying anything, leave alone school fees. I was half a month in arrears when Leonie called me and spoke to me like I was a child, gave not an inch with regard to trying to understand or negotiate and demanded money there and then. When I explained that I had no money, Leonie cut my child off from the Watsup group, which was her method of online teaching, and yet she was demanding the full R5000 per month from parents who were doing all the school work with the children at home. Leonie De Kock then blocked me from calling her and when my older son tried to liaise with her, even after making part payment, she blocked him and cut my child off from his grade 5 education.

My child’s academic year is now compromised and even after I sent a letter begging and pleading with Leonie to let my child resume schooling and offering to pay fees in advance, she refused. Leonie De Kock is a miserable human being that should not be allowed to interact with children and she is bringing Cambridge Schools into disrepute with her bad attitude and ****** behavior.

I urge anyone who plans on involving themselves with any Cambridge affiliated school to consider carefully the type of people that are allowed to operate under that banner and the effects that might have in their child.
