Great Service after dissapointing delivery

The service level of a company is best measured by how they react when things go wrong.

Ordering parts for overnight delivery from DIYElectronics just before the easter weekend, resulted in delivery four days later.

Needing the parts for a planned build over the weekend I was highly upset for losing this opportunity. As a matter of fact I can't remember ever being that upset about a failed delivery ever.

Friday being a public holiday I was unable to do anything but send an email compalining about the poor service. I had to rewrite the letter a couple of times and even so it remained quite blunt.
Nick Mawbey rep**** on Saturday morning and appologised for the situation. He promised to sort it out the next business day as he would need to get the details from the office. This was unfortuantely only the Tuesday.

On Tuesday they did follow up on this issue. They promised to refund the entire shipment cost as gesture of good will.

Off course this did not fix my problem however it did go a long way in convincing me of their intent and the type of service I can expect fwhen ordering from them in the future.

I can gladly reccomend them for their attitude and service.

Paul Louw
