Updating Firmware from Manufacturer voids warranty

Bought an Creality Ender 6, added a CR Touch and did firmware update (From Official Creality Website) , I was attempting to Print ABS and noticed the Part Fan cannot be turned off, contacted DIY Electronics after a huge waste of time and back and forth debugging if Creality have a firmware issue they came back with this response

Regarding your printer, upgrading, changing or flashing firmware on the printer voids the warranty of the printer
