Follow Up Review: Dixon H.O. (Johan Mostert) contacted me the very next day after my review - very impressed with their quick response.

So according to Johan, I was definitel misinformed by the local branch regarding the subject of my review that Dixon batteries are maybe "not for off road travel"... He assured me that That is Definitely Not the case. He said that there is No indication that their batteries are not suitable for off road travel. He travels gravel roads on a daily bases for years and has Never had any issues. He also deals with reports from a laboratory that analyzes All makes batteries in SA and there are no such reports.

The 2nd thing he corrected me on, was that they only have a 2 year warranty and not a 3 year like the workers calculated for me...saying that "it's 2 months over it's warranty period" - it was in fact a year and 2 months over it's warranty period...

Another interesting fact he mentioned was that the average battery lifespan amongst All the makes available in SA, is only like 42 months... So I guess I shouldn't complain. I was under the impression that it was around 5 years.

So to end this review off, I must just say that I was Very impressed with the manner in which Johan handled the situation. He was very efficient & informative. He exceeded my expectations & went out of his way to "make things right". He is invaluable to the company and is an Absolute brand ambassador that truly believes in his product. I can honestly recommend Dixon batteries without Any hesitation!
