DUMPED BY DIX RUBBLE REMOVAL

<p>A month earlier I had ordered and paid up front for a skip on my building site. It never arrived and my enquiries were not answered until a few days later, when an unfami**** voice answered my call. To cut a long story short, the person admonished me for 'dealing' with Dixie and instructed me to call her - as she had 'taken over'. Priscilla confirmed she was interested in my future business and although I had already resigned myself to the loss of R1600, a skip was finally dispatched days later. It became evident over the weeks that the business relies entirely on the service of one aged oil spewing skorokoro (to which my driveway bears testament). Inevitably (and I shorten my frustrated story), the old lady broke down and the other woman in the story evolved from a litany of broken promises to ignoring all calls and messages. Clearly my (up-front) payment could be allocated by Priscilla to hiring a sub-contractor. My eft payment was deposited directly into her personal account and I might add that I also located an obliging company willing to move the laden skip for only R1000 - but they insist on the skip owner's prior permission - which is not forthcoming (although I have been asked to forward the same information on at least 2 occasions). I subsequently have had conversations with her son Jerome, who although obliging, has unfortunately also continued the legacy of broken assurances. I am under huge pressure from the homeowner's association, the saga is now entering into week 4 and I still have a heavy skip blocking my driveway and hampering access after another broken commitment and a new one which assures me that the skip will be removed at 07:30 on Monday morning. Yeah ......</p>
