Divine Pets Home / Pet Kingdom SA ****!!

I came across the website: https://www.divinepetshome.com/ in my search for a new chihuahua puppy. I contacted them and received a whatsapp from a woman named "Carien Coetzee" saying that she had responded to my mail. The mail listed the number of puppies and how they had all been microchipped and had full vet checks and came with all papers. Asked some questions about the environment which made it seem like she really cared where her puppies ended up... Turns out they are based in Upington and she said that she would fly the dog down for an extra R1000 (so the total would be R4500). I chose a dog and asked for bank details.

Luckily, my gut instinct told me to just check into this a bit more which I did this morning, as did my father. I googled the phone number on the site and was directed immediately to a ********** site list: https://db.aa419.org/****banksview.php?key=131109 - They were previously going under the name Pet Kingdom SA (which already has **** reports here). So I click the link and it redirects me to their new site... Being a web developer I knew that this simply meant that they had realised that the previous company name was being outed as a **** and they had registered a new domain (with the same host provider) and had simply asked the host to redirect the domain.

While I was researching this, my dad phone vets in Upington who had never heard of the business or the woman. We then also checked the cell number and Carien Coetzee did not exist.

My father then phoned the number and intentionally spoke Afrikaans and the woman on the other end did not understand and when my father asked for Carien, the woman spoke with an african accent and said she wasn' t Carien. Thankfully I found this out BEFORE I made payment. I have reported both domains to the legal side of their hosting company and am about to inform the ABSA ***** section about the account.

PLEASE be weary people... I was extremely sad and upset because I was excited but am reporting everywhere I can.
