Failure to disclose lawful requirements for development

The property being sold by Ditabeng Afrika Development in Centurion near Erasmia is: On dolomite (sink holes) The groundwater is contaminated (not drinkable) Boreholes may not be drilled in dolomite without environmental approval Septic tanks may not be buried or built in dolomite or protected areas without environmental approval Part of the property falls within a protected wetland Another part of the property falls in a flood plain (flooding) Any development requires approval in terms of the National Environmental Management Act and Tshwane Municipal bylaws. No such approval has been sought and the Company has indicated that it would not do so even though the Company is selling actual stands for occupation.
