We're not as stupid as you think.

This is just in response to Discovery Vitality taking the decision to remove Strava as on of the apps that could be used to track workouts for use with the Apple Watch.

Now I know you gave the reason \Strava integration has been problematic this year resulting in poor user experiences\". In my personal experience, it worked perfectly whenever I used it. So the only valid reason would be if it were not possible to tell whether an activity was manually uploaded or not. A reason you gave, and one that is nonsense.

As a Software Engineer, this shocked me. Obviously you guys need to use the Strava API to retrieve activity information. A quick look at this API reference documentation and you see that there is clearly a field indicating whether an activity was added manually or not. (manual: boolean). I would suggest showing and explaining this to your software dev team, but clearly, based on BOTH reasons given for Strava's removal, they have no idea what they are doing.

This is clearly another move in your mission to make reaching points goals more difficult for users, or force users to buy devices that make having the Apple Watch in the first place, useless."
