Vitality Travel and Discovery Bank - BEWARE and STAY AWAY

For those of you wanting to sign up with Discovery Bank and use their Vitality Travel "system", I would advise you to think twice. I booked my flights and car hire via their site. Firstly, I was not impressed that I was forced to pay for my booking with my Discovery Card. I feel that this must contravene the Competitions Act and I will be looking into that separately. Then I wanted to upgrade my car hire to a bigger vehicle. I was told that this is not possible online and the only way to do it is to cancel the existing booking, fill out a thousand forms, and wait 6 to 8 WEEKS for a refund. I would have to make a fresh booking in the interim and fork out the full payment for the upgraded vehicle. To add insult to injury, I would also be charged a cancellation fee for the original booking. Are we living in 1922 or 2022? I find this process ludicrous to say the least and I would strongly urge anyone wanting to make a booking via this platform to reconsider.
