VITALITY SHOE BOOSTER *****ING THE MONEY
After activating my shoe booster with Vitality, paying the R375, I bought running shoes at Sportmans Warehouse. I was not completely happy with the shoe and wanted to exchange/return the shoe and buy the actual shoe I wanted from Totalsports (which is also a preferred partner). I returned the shoes and bought the other shoe the same day, literally an half an hour after returning the other pair thinking the new shoe would link to the booster. While returning the shoes, my shoe booster was automatically cancelled leaving me with no option to buy a new shoe/ the actual shoe I wanted on the shoe booster activation fee already paid.
I called Vitality and their only feedback to me was that the cancellation is linked when a shoe has been returned and this is to prevent ***** in the past and explained that the system does not have the capability to link a new shoe with the same activation fee. This makes sense for someone who does not want the booster or the shoes, but how does this benefit the client at all if they had no intention to cancel the booster and has proof that a new shoe was bought to replace the other shoe for the booster???!!! I have to pay the R375 AGAIN to be able to activate the booster AGAIN, paying R750 to activate a booster, due to no refund of the first activation!! THIS IS REDICULOUS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I see no benefit here in my case (the client). I lost the activation fee of R375 as well as the 75% Cash back I would have received on the shoes leaving me with less than I had in the first place to start with!!!!!! How can there not be a few days which gives me a change to buy new shoes and not cancel my activation immediately??!!!
After all this the operator even admitted/agreed that there is no benefit for the client in this case and someone like me looses out and the only thing he can do is to bring this up in one of the meetings. Well, how does this help me now at this specific point?!
