Vitality rule change
I own one of the best fitness and adventure watches ever made.
I have been a member of Discovery for a while now and joined Vitality. Because Suunto was so awesome they naturally included it on their list of preferred devices that members could use to log workouts.

Now all of a sudden Discovery have turned around and have basically said, our top of the range devices, that they can not make money off of, should be turned into nothing more than a paper weight, in terms of earning vitality points, with it.

Well I have news for you. I am loyal to SUUNTO and I will never give it up. I don't need to sync my workouts. I workout and do sport because it's awesome and over the last few months I have discovered, earning points for vitality is not why I do sport.

Thank goodness you have shown your true colours and thank the pope I don't owe you for and inferior product because you ******* me... I paid for my Suunto and I will keep supporting them.

P.S Map my run is broken and I can no longer use it to log my workouts, since you decided to pull your latest stunt.

Regards

From one of your many angry, loyal clients that you don't care about anymore!

(Supplier name changed from Discovery Health to Discovery Vitality & Vitality Mall by Hellopeter.com)

Thank you for your post.
Vitality aims to encourage its members to get healthier. It is built on a foundation of rewarding our members for accurate, measurable and clinically valid physical activity data.
Together with Suunto, we are working on a new, better-quality integration and we hope to have this in place in the coming months. In the interim, while no new Suunto device linking through
MapMyFitness will be possible from 18 March 2016, we have recognised members as early adopters. We'll continue to award Vitality points for Suunto activities (via MapMyFitness) until the end of June 2016. Given the intricacies of this system integration, we cannot commit to timelines but will keep you informed closer to the time.
For any queries related to fitness devices and apps and achieving Vitality fitness points, you can visit our Vitality Support page. You can also view your own personalised Vitality Dashboard and get a snapshot of your current Vitality Status, Points and Benefits.
