Vitality rewards points - burden more than motivation

Good day

Where to start?

Point 1:

I am having problems with the consitancy of points allcocation.

Typically I did one run twice - the one I did a 15km in 4.43min/km with approx. 150bpm (received 300points)

the other one i did a 15km in 4.40min/km with approx. 129bpm (received 100points)

Based on their points my heart rate was not high enough on second run, if my heart rate was wrong I do not know.

All I know is that the session was just as hard as the previous one and if you look at my pace you could easily see that I was pushing myself.

Point 2:

They notified me in February that my TomTom Watch which currently uploads to them through map my fitness will discontinue form the 30 June 2016. However they are working with TomTom in the interim to resolve this matter. On the 31 May I suddenly notice no more uploads and no further correspondence from vitality.

Point 3:

Yesterday I did a 30km training session and I am running with my Tomtom watch and my Apple watch.

To my shock I noticed that the apple watch which they endorse quiet highly does not refelect my true heart rate and was out with almost 45bpm. (On their points they have now allocated to me 100 points for this session - which is equal to just doing a gym session.) - My time was 6.18min/km as I was doing a trail session on morre than half of the run.

Point 4:

I have spoken to most of the people who have signed up for the apple watch to monitor and help them get more points but in the end becomes more of a burden as they are struggling to maintain their required status weekly. Putting more pressure and not motivating them to push themself. I know most people would rather just do enough to keep their required points to the same status.

Point 5:

I have contacted them now through mail and phone and they are only saying that they are processing it but nobody can tell me when and how this will be fixed. I have requested a manager to phone me on two occasions and yet to hear anything.

Your assitance will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
