Vitality Points Goals AND DOUBLE STANDARDS And Why Only Cardio???
I recently purchased an Apple Watch, which I am not overly Thrilled about as it doesn’t seem to be tracking my heart rate correctly. And as you know, your heart rate has to be over a certain amount in order to make vitality points as you have a goal to reach. My Problem with this is that once you make your points goal it gets pushed up EXTENSIVELY. My points goals got pushed up extensively in 3 weeks after reaching my goals 3 times in a row. Should you miss your goal only ONCE you have to pay, which I knew when I signed up, but WHY OH WHY does points goal stays exactly the same even though you missed a week??? DOUBLE STANDARDS PERHAPS??? OR just an easy means of cheating people out of their money?? Even missing your goal twice. And his goal remained the same…. What was all that garbage about Adjustment? Shouldn’t your goal be adjusted after every week based on whether you made or missed your goal? Why is it fair to push up my goal one week with 50 points, the next week with 100 points and the week thereafter I don’t make it so it stays the same. The week thereafter I don’t make it again, it stays the same again. Not Cool! I am sure if I had made the goal again that week it would have been pushed up again with another 100 points. Not only does this annoy me, but the fact that the only way to get high points is to take part in “Cardio” type exercises – if you are using a fitness device you have to reach a certain heartrate, alternatively there is park run. What about Cross training, weight lifting, strength training, yoga, Pilates – exercises that don’t push your heart rate up to 182 BPM but are just as (If not more) Beneficial to you in the long run and doesn’t have such an UGLY impact on your joints. Now you tell me how are people suppose to make 900 points a week if they have manky knees and love to lift weights instead of running themselves into the ground? There are only 7 days in a week, if they went to the gym everyday for 7 days and did only weights or yoga and only got 100 pointer workout, how do you expect them to make 900 points? Logistically Impossible unless they do Cardio as well – NOW we get to another point, Discovery doesn’t take two 20 minute workouts in one day, for example, as one 40 minute workout even though the setting on the watch has to be change with regards to the technicality of heart rate etc, every exercise is measured differently. Even the little + Button you can press halfway through your workout that starts a “New” workout reads as two separate workouts – AND THEN YOU DON”T GET THE POINTS. IT DOESN’T WORK. As a medical aid, an so called ”Expert” and a service provider with actual humans that live and breathe and exist and are alive you should be more clued up on the types of exercises out there, you should know better and you should accommodate the masses, not just the “What has always been”.
We ARE NOT just another product for you to drain dry. BE BETTER
