Vitality failure to deliver
3 yrs ago Vitality changed their system, and clients need to exchange their existing sports watched to remain compatible . They facilitated a discount on the new wearables. I had a Suunto so stayed in the brand and did the upgrade, all was well for a few months. In Feb 2021 my watch would not upload any activity over 90 min. I do endurance rides and events weekly this has been the issue no for 14 MONTHS. Their answer is that you have to capture all the days activities and send it tho them weekly! Doing that once or twice is acceptable but for over a year! Their automated response is dismal as customer relations ....try calling the customer care line...good luck! What is the point of paying vitality and then the most basic of things they can't deliver. Their latest suggestion is that I buy a new watch, but will not do the same deal as they did 3 years ago. I have been a client of discovery and vitality for 13 years. They do my medical aid , life insurance, and some investments. Im looking into moving all of these to a competitor, if you can't do the small things....just imagine if a big issue arises!
