Vitality: Changing the goal posts yearly - pathetic!

<p>I have been on Discovery Vitality for a couple of years, without having Discovery Medical aid. I have the yearly blood tests done through my own medical aid, but this year (all of a sudden without notice) the blood tests only count if it is done at a "Vitality Wellness Centre", and the tests done by professional laboratories such as Lancet, do not count. Surely you can derive that you can only get points if you pay someone in the Discovery network. (Sounds more and more like a bribe hey?) So the ACTUAL results do not say as much as the amount you are willing to pay.</p> <p>Why does Discovery do this? Financial problems it seems. And it is definitely not the first time. EVERY single year the goal posts change. </p> <p>But I guess that is just something we have to get used to. I just feel sorry for the people whose monthly premiums would increase just because they cant reach the set goals set out by DIscovery as they keep on moving the goal posts. Pity.</p> <p> </p>
