Vitality cancelled

I would like to know why my vitality was cancelled when I cancelled my life cover and no one notified me that it was linked to my life cover. I have medical aid with Discovery and it could be moved to it when I cancelled the life cover. this has now cost my Virgin Active membership to be cancelled. This is now inconveniencing me and time wasting, I want my Virgin Active membership re-instated with the immediate effect while Discovery is busy re-instating my Vitality with my company's HR dept.
