Vitality apple watch

My wife & I have Discovery medical aid with Vitality. We share the plan & our Vitality points are combined. My wife also has the Discovery card. I was interested in the Vitality Apple Watch deal Discovery are currently doing, so I e-mailed Vitality to check that if my wife got me the watch (as only she has the Discovery credit card) could I transfer the watch to my name so that my gym visits / workouts etc. count towards the watch & not my wife's points. Tshepo Boqo confirmed that I could transfer the benefit into my name. Here is an extract from the E-mail confirming this:<br> 'Your wife will need to transfer the benefit to your name if she purchases the Apple Watch for you, in order for the benefit to be linked to your Vitality Active Rewards profile.'<br> When I received the watch I immediately contacted Discovery to change the benefit & put it under my active rewards. I was then advised over the phone that this was not possible. I am furious as my wife will not be able to rack up the points required (as she has just given birth to our baby daughter & is recovering).<br> If I had known I could not put the watch in my name I would not have purchased it. <br> I need this to be sorted ASAP please
