Vitality and Kulula **** and FALSE Benefits PLEASE READ!

<p>Vitality has marketed their benefits of 30% discount on flights with Kulula. Please be aware that this is not a benefit but rather we are paying more for flights if we are a Vitality member. If you look at certain flights On Kulula before logging into Vitality, the price is for example R2000. Then when you login with your Vitality details and look at the very same flight,the price is R4000. Once you select the flight, your vitality discount is app**** and even if you get 30% (maximum) discount on the flight price(excluding air taxes). The flight is around R2500 which is still more than if you were a non-member booking. I have been booking for years and was not aware that Kulula increases their flight prices as soon as you login as a Vitality Member. The vitality benefits are a complete waste of time in my opinion. I have raised this issue to Vitality and they took over 2 months to get back to me and they donot want to admit that this is an issue. I have showed them several screenshots and demonstrated the differences in flight prices. to their huge delay in getting back to me, I had lost my reservation at a hotel because I needed to book my flight before paying the Hotel. I was waiting for Vitality to get back to me, hoping they would resolve the matter as they promised a 3 day turn-around time but rather they took over 2 months to get back to me. Instead of coming back with a solution, Vitality is being completely dishonest and are trying to circumvent the issue by falsifying the fact that this is a known issue that Kulula is aware of. A representative from Vitality called me and he agreed that this is an issue but the emails they send me are ambigious and in conclusion state that this is not an issue.</p> <p>Example: PLEASE Try to book a flight from JHB-Livingstone return from the 12 August to 15 August On Kulula without logging in with your Vitality credentials. The return flight price is R3099. Now login with your Vitality credentials and look at the same return flight. The flight price is R4489. Select the flight and notice that after your discount is app****(25%), the flight price is R3547.75. Now tell me how can a non-member pay R3099 and a vitality member who has a 25% discount applicable to them pay R3547.75 for the same flight. Why would one waste R199 per a month for a vitality benefit only to pay more towards flights. One of the biggest perks of being a Vitality member would be the flights and the gym benefit. This is a complete **** from Discovery and Vitality and is just a money making Medical Aid Sceheme with no real benefits!!! </p>
