Vitality Active Rewards requirements changed

I am a runner an have been running marathons for more than 20 years. Last year Discovery introduced Active Rewards system. You can get discounts on gym fees and Kulula tickets. I own a Samsung phone and signed up with the RunKeeper app, It was very motivating. Then I was informed that you can only earn a max of 100 points per day with an app. This will not be enough to achieve my weekly goals Discovery sets. They said I can earn 300 points by doing ParkRuns on a Saturday, but anyone training for a marathon will tell you you do not run only 5km on a weekend! And in the end, that will also not be enough. What Discovery did, they first create all these expectations and the next moment they take it away. You are forced now to buy an expensive device that can track you heart rate if you want to earn more points. I am very disappointed. Did they not think this through, did they not do their homework? Why at all create these expectations if you cannot stick to it? The people owning iphones however has the benefit of a free iwatch!! The rest of us must either buy an iphone or an expensive device... In stead of motivating me, Discovery made me really very upset.
