Unfair and unrealistic treatment of pregnant woman

I feel that my preganant wife is being unfairly treated. I have been emailing and calling Vitality regarding my wife's weekly goals being increased while she is heavily preganant. In addition to this, I have enquired about the expectancy of her to go back to gym immediately after the birth and I have been told that she is expected to do so. Vitality asked me to get a docors letter stating that it is not advisable for her to be attending gym regularly. We did so at our own exspense and submitted it to Vitality only to be informed that the letter does not specify how often she can go to gym and that the letter was unclear. The letter stated that she should not be attending gym regularly for the next 6 months. Vitality came back with, "what is regularly." I found this contradictory as on the Vitality website it says one should gym regularly.

I have now emailed them back saying that immediatley after birth a woman's *******ia are damaged and she will be breast feeding. This along with the tiresome and painful ordeal of giving birth should surely mean that she should be resting as much as possible and that gym should be slowly reintroduced a few weeks if not months after the birth has occured. I am afraid that is common sense. I have had no reply to that email.
