Turning clients into numbers...

After asking for and getting written confirmation from Vitality that my ASA license was ready for collection at Centurion, I drove through to collect it on 10 Feb.

When I got there I was told that they ran out of licenses earlier the day, but if I leave my details they will courier it to me. So I did.

On 25 Feb I mailed TeamVitality to find out why no-one contacted me yet. Their response: \We see that our courier company attempted to contact you to confirm your delivery address. We are unable to courier the license numbers and you would have to collect from our offices.\"

I remember missing ONE call from an unknown number during that period. No voice mails, no sms, no email. I also let them know this in a follow-up mail, and asked whether they regard this as acceptable comms, and asked how can they say they were \"unable\" to courier after not getting hold of me after one phone call... Their response:

\"Unfortunately we will not be able to courier your license as we sent out those licenses via courier as an exception.\"

I was one of \"those licenses\"!

Clearly Vitality is busy turning their clients into numbers..."
