Hi <br> <br> I opened a discovery card recently, after seeing I could get additional discounts when booking hotel accommodation. to my disappointment when I got the card on Friday the 18th March, I subsequently booked through this platform for the 9th which was within the platform. but did not receive my discount as was promised. Worst is that I reported the complaint same time. and now I am told it is my fault as I was supposed to wait 24 hours. I was not made aware of this.<br> <br> this for me is unacceptable as I opened the account exactly for this purpose, now I am left as this foolish customer because I paid more than if I had used an agent. I now can't even book to rent a car because of this additional cost I didn't factor.<br> <br> I get a sense I was taken for a ride and worst I am being made out to be the fool in all this.
