Terrible service, no change of address, no refund
I joined Vitality in 2014 for the food benefit. It took 3 months to receive the Pick 'n Pay card-a result of Discovery's automated system allocating my postal address to Noordwyk, Halfway House instead of Noordwyk, Midrand. (Halfway House is 10kms away from Noordwyk) I spoke to 3 agents before one logged a complaint in August 2014 (number ***) for the change of address. 7 months later and it is still incorrect. I complained to 5 agents (the last one being Michael) that I have not received any refund and that the points on the system is incorrect, but to no avail. My invoices prove a refund is due. My last purchase was on 15 August 2014. On the website customers are told it will take a week to process. This is dishonest because they do not accrue the benefit until the next month. Discovery is in non-compliance of the Consumer Protection Act. Their policy is that you lose your last month's points. This is because the accounting department is too lazy to follow proper accounting principles and accrue outstanding points. What a rip-off? Maybe I should also cancel my medical aid. You should take lessons from Telesure and train your consultants to be less rude and more helpful!!!
