Taking away of programs
Discovery, this is really demotivating having to read that some of your programs like Strava will be taken away from the rewards program. I am a cyclist and use my strava to gain points for my rewards program. What discovery is doing now, is forcing members to buy one of their products linked to your discovery discount, which I am sure Discovery gets a kick back on. Furthermore I am financially in no position to buy a garmin even at your discounted vitality rates.

This program should have been thought through from the word go and Vitality should have looked at all the flaws this system has!! I do think it is VERY unfair to take this away from all the members. The rewards program was really something exciting and seeing that I am not able to go the gym every day, this is going to make reaching goals very difficult.

Discovery - this puts you in a very bad light and it sure does look like a MONEY MAKING SCHEME. All members should not have to pay for others wrong doing. Take them of the system then. Also, my goals increase every second week due to my cycling. How on earth am I going to reach my goals if I will only be able to get points through Virgin Active?

NOT IMPRESSED!!!
Thank you for your post.
We still offer you many ways for our members to earn fitness points, and Vitality members won't have to miss out on their Vitality Active Rewards goals. We are placing more emphasis on data which is both verifiable and clinically relevant, but they can still earn up to 3 000 Vitality points in one exercise session a day by taking part in certain activities with one of our partner devices.
We have decided to make these enhancements to our points structure in order to help our members to improve their health and wellbeing
We're aware that some of the fitness devices and apps we have previously supported on our platforms have not been working to the standard which we would prefer. We like to always provide our members with the best quality service we possibly can so we have decided to partner only with those devices and apps which give our members the best possible experience.
In addition, we acknowledge that these points changes will impact our members on Vitality Active Rewards and we have therefore decided to recalculate every Vitality Active Rewards members' goal in order to account for these changes.
Regards,
Discovery Vitality
