Silly little games Vitality plays

Vitality states on their website that you can go for the glaucoma tests if you're older than 40 years. So last weekend both me and my wife went for the tests. Only to be told after submitting our results by Vitality that we are not in the age range = 60 years. So does this mean Vitality changes the rule as and when they please?
