Shoe Booster ****
I activated my Shoe Booster benefit on the Discovery app, paid the activation fee and looked at the list of categories and proceeded to click on the link taking me to the Sportsmans Warehouse website. I found the shoe I wanted and saw that it was a Discovery Vitality approved shoe. I went into the store, selected the shoe, gave the cashier my Healthy Gear Card and paid.
After a few weeks I noticed that the shoe is not showing up on the app. I phoned Discovery within the 30 day period and they informed me that they will get back to me. I call them again and they inform me that the shoe is not on the approved list of shoes and my 30 days have now passed. There is no list available to the public to view what shoe is on the list. They tell me I had to ask the store whether that shoe is on the list. They also don't tell you on the website or app that you have to ask the store whether it's on the list. What if you made an online purchase? There is no one informing you if your shoe is on the list. Neither Discovery nor Sportsmans Warehouse informed me whether the shoe is on the list.
Throughout the conversation with Discovery it became clear that they do not want to help me and it's not their problem that there is no list available on their website or the partners website and that they do not take any responsibility in not informing me the consumer what specific shoes are on the shoe booster list.
They cause confusion but not making a clear distinction between Vitality Healthy Gear and Shoe Booster on the partners website as long as they received their money they do not care.
Nowhere is it published what shoes are on the Shoe Booster list. I was on the line for more than 30 min with the call center and they refuse to help me, saying it's not heir problem.
Be very aware of Discovery and all their "benefits"
