RENEGED on a commitment

Discovery "Special Projects" books British Airways International flights for Discovery members.

Before booking I experienced some confusion as to whether we [wife and I] would be getting triple BA miles on the itinerary through some kind of promotion.

They responded via email to the effect that we would be, and that that had been confirmed by British Airways.

I am now told that we can't get the miles as the trip "did not qualify" (for whatever reason/s - which are not really my concern)

Clearly, they have been misinformed by BA and as my "agent", should make good on their promise.

Despite my empathy for their bind, I look to Discovery to come to the party - and getting shoved around will only make it worse.

There are so many ways this can be worked out amicably. It never needed to reach this point
