Rejoining Fee

I paid a R2000 joining fee at the end of 2017 and I was a dependent on my dad's medical aid.

I have a new job this year with a new discovery medical aid, yet Planet fitness are asking me for a new joining fee of R2000.

In the time i wasn't a vitality member i paid the full R750 for 2 months.

It seems absolutely absurd to pay a R4000 joining fee in 2 months. I'm not sure who's to blame, but I'm likely going to swap medical aid schemes or gyms.
