No more outdoor activities (unless it is run by 4 timing companies)

<p>I rode the Kremetart 175km cycling race last weekend. This is the only 1 day road cyclling stage race in South Africa and the biggest event in Louis Trichardt. And guess what, as of 1 April, because the timing company (Timeme) is not one of the 4 registered timing companies with Vitality, I cannot claim any points. There used to be an interface for us to claim points before April, but no more.</p> <p>But it gets better. I then get a message from Vitality, telling me that should I want to claim the points, I should contact the timing administrator, to convince them to link in with Vitality. How is that for passing the buck. This is their policy I am told by the agent that later phoned me. So I not only cannot claim points, but now I must convince companies to intreface with Vitality too. </p> <p>Alternatively I can buy a Vitality device to automatically register my rides. Firstly, I am not interested in spending money to get 1500 points and secondly the event is in the past, so it helps me zero.</p> <p>This is ridiculous. </p> <p>Vitality you may have worldly, capitalistic wisdom, but that is where it ends.</p>
