No communication between the areas, hence Vitality status taken down to Blue

I have been with Discovery Vitality between 7-10 years. I have been Diamond for many years and have worked hard every year to make sure that I stay on this level.

In about September 2016 I went to Discovery on my own policy with my 3 children. My FA was able to keep my Diamond status, as this was my requesit if I moved to my own policy. By November it was clear to me that I was not going to be able to pay for the full price premiums and made enquiries about moving to another plan, such as Key Care, which I am now on. I was told that I would not be able to have Vitality on this plan. I resigned myelf to this as I had no choice, the premiums were about R2000 cheaper.

So January came and when there was a problem with my premium DD and I had to make a manuel payment and I was told that my premium I had to pay would need to be paid into 2 accounts, one for Vitality, and 1 for my premium. It was then that I realized that I was still a member of Vitality. I was excited, but then remembered that I had stopped making up my points at the end of the year as there was no point if I would not be a member anymore.

So I phoned on the 18th Jan and a lady said that she would need to listen to my calls, and would ring me in a couple of days. Safe to say she DIDN'T ring me so I rang back on the 2nd Feb. Still not much luck. They want to know the date that I rang, and who I spoke to. I can't remember this, and I don't think it was even linked to my account as when I phoned up it was generic questions that I was asking. (sometimes it is easier to just ring then to ask about things without all the security questions).

So now I am left back to scratch again with my vitality points. Why is it that the departments don't speak to each other and that the agents aren't informed correctly? I have asked that I be given the chance to makeup my points for last year to make up to Diamond as now I have to wait 3 years again and was told no. I am getting increasingly fed up, and maybe I should just trash the whole Vitality. At least I would save R260 odd Rand every month. Why would I have worked so hard to make up points just to throw them away?
