New discovery rewards program is not better

With the discovery reward program, one got a minimum of 25 points on the board game after achieving the weekly goal. Thus in a month one got 100 points which was equal to R100.

With the miles rewards program, one gets a minimum of 125 miles a week after achieving weekly goal. Thus in a month one gets 500 miles equal to only R50.

So the rewards are streamlined. How can discovery say the new rewards programme is better?
