Misleading Marketing Information

I have been a loyal customer to Discovery for 13 years now, and have all the boxes ticked, as Discovery would like them to be, being part of their Medical Aid, - GAP COVER, LIFE INSURANCE, INVESTMENTS, CAR AND HOME INSURANCE, VITALITY and CREDIT CARD schemes.

I received an email this week- like all members- with the offer to activate my "Vitality Active Rewards". I can then purchase the brand new Apple Watch Series 3, for a minimal amount of money and then discovery would cover the monthly installments over the next 24 months, as long as i reached my "weekly Goals" in my form of excercise, whatever it may be. So being an active person, thought it would be a great idea, to be able to monitor my heart rate, sleeping patterns, daily step count, etc. I went ahead and made the payment and printed out my Proof of Payment which i am to take to my nearest Apple Store/iPhone Store and hand it over to a consultant who then checks my credentials and would then hand me a Apple Watch if all is good. I phoned all the shops in the Greater Capetown area this morning, regarding availability, only to find out that there is no stock available in the country. Furthermore, to be able to put my name on a waiting list, i would have to travel all the way to Canal Walk, and personally speak to a consultant, who would then put my name on the waiting list!!!!!! Question 1: I wonder how many DISCOVERY CUSTOMERS there are like me, who have already paid the required "down-payment" for this APPLE WATCH, only to find out that there is no stock, and with an "unknown" waiting time??? Question 2: Where does one now find the time to go and drive all the way to the other side of town just to be able to personaly put your name on a waiting-list, and to be told "we dont know when there will be stock available"!?!?!?
